Optional equipment
There is a range of options, on request, when it comes to incinerator specification:
- The incinerator can be prepared for the following supply voltages: 380/440, or other voltage on request.
- The incinerator is prepared for control voltage 220V, other only on special request.
- Color other than our standard RAL 6019 (green).
- Markings in different language, for example Russian.
- Paper trash bags.
These options need no further explanation, but the following are explained in more detail for your information.
Ampere meter
This is an ampere meter for the current for the flue gas fan to monitor the specific load on this. Indication panel is fitted in the control panel. It is a convenient instrument for monitoring motor load. Our next upgrade will include this as standard on all incinerator models.
3-way test cock/Root valve
In order to test all pressure switches with a portable test device, and activate the different PLC alarms, the diesel/steam/air/sludge lines are equipped with this setup. Our next upgrade will include this as standard on all incinerator models.
Diesel oil booster pump
The incinerator is equipped with a standard diesel oil suction pump. If the tank is located 4.5 meters lower than the incinerator, an additional diesel oil booster pump must be installed at tank level to lift the diesel to the diesel oil suction pump. The diesel oil booster pump is automatically controlled through the PLC.
Diesel oil transfer pump
This pump is for transferring diesel oil to the incinerator diesel oil service tank. This pump is located near the supply tank, and is manually operated from the incinerator control panel. The pump is stopped automatically by a high level switch.
Space heater/Motor heater
Some vessel classes, or owner specifications, may specify electrical motor heaters for all motor above a certain size. This can be physically integrated, and be automatically controlled by the PLC.
Diesel oil strainer
A filtering of the supplied diesel is required for all incinerators. This item is available.
Flue gas stack parts
The flue gas stack often has limited space, and is routed in various directions before entering the funnel/smoke stack. Low deck height may be one challenge, and a customized bend may be required. Based on detailed info, we are able to offer and manufacture many such special parts in our works.
Sludge preparation tanks – product data
Complete sludge tanks can be delivered for heating with steam, electricity, by thermal oil heating or superheated water. With steam, the energy consumption can be estimated to 50 kg/hour at 7 bar. Heating by electricity require 12 or 16 kW, depending on tank size.
Our sludge tanks are delivered in sizes 435, 700, 1100, 1700 and 2000 liters. Larger tanks are available on request. We recommend dual tank setup, and sufficient capacity for each of them.
Insulation of the tank is optional, and the insulation can be engulfed in either aluminum foil or steel plating.
The tank is delivered complete with sludge circulating pump (2.5 kW), high and low level switch and thermostat, see picture below, and required safety/operational valves. Tank level indicator is optional.
Sludge tank equipment packages
If the client would rather use another tank available, we still need to functionally integrate this with the incinerator. It is very important to be able to drain water, and to heat and mix the sludge before incineration.
There are different packages for steam, electrical, heating by thermal oil, or by superheated water.
A sludge circulation pump is required, but also a control panel and a number of fittings and electronic components. All valves required by class are included.
Diesel tank
Our standard diesel tank is 400 liters, but an 1100 liter tank is also available for large solid waste plants. Low level switch is available as an option. Click tank model additional product information and a picture.
Waste treatment plants
Let us put together a turnkey solution for taking care of waste that cannot be incinerated. We have the knowledge and the partners to not only deliver products, but a complete solution that works.
Flue gas pipe expansion compensators
Due to thermal expansion of the flue gas stack, a set of two compensators are needed to avoid stress build up. The compensator comes in standard flange dimensions DN 200, 300, 350, 400, 500 and 600.
Spark arrester
A spark arrester in the flue gas stack will prevent large glowing particles to travel through the stack and reach open air. This is both for safety and environmental aspects.
Pressure transmitter for level gauging
It is crucial that the owner and operator can document all entries in the oil record book towards the port authority or other inspectors. The sludge oil tank equipped with a transmitter gives good control of the current sludge oil level. The transmitter provides a direct 4-20 mA output, and the level is displayed on the incinerator operating panel.
