Outline Specification

For Ejectors used for Cargo Oil Service, Water Ballast Service and  General Bilge Service we recommend as follows: 

Stripping Ejectors with capacity of more than 100 m³/h to be made of Ni-Al-Bz (ISO 1338, CuA110Fe5Ni5) with a nozzle made of Monel Metal/AISI 316. Smaller sized ejectors to be made of  Rg9 Bronze (ISO 1338, CuSn9Pb2Zn4) with a nozzle made of AISI 316.  

For Ejectors installed in cargo hold areas on Bulk Carriers and OBO Carriers used for stripping during wash down we propose as follows: 

Ejectors to be made of Ni-Al-Bz with a nozzle made of Monel Metal/AISI 316. The Ejectors must have a stripping capacity of minimum 25% higher than the input of washing water from the Cleaning machines. Additionally the Ejectors should be able to pump particle sizes of minimum 60 mm dimension.
